Even Your Dad will Love
I’ve been interested in the pixel art trend that has becoming more popular. However, I wanted to try something a little bit different. I figured that my love of ugly sweaters was the perfect motivation.
Each element of the pattern had to be created, one by one, by placing each white “v.” The stitches “v” design is bilaterally symmetrical meaning that only pieces can only be reflected over the y-axis.
The snowflake is the center of the ski. However, the ski binding will obscure most of this pattern. The rest of the ski is mirrored on both sides of the binding so you don’t miss out on any other ugly bit.
These ski (topsheet) graphics were created, as a concept, for Seneca Skis based out of Bozeman,MT. The “S” seen on this part of the ski is a replication of Senca’s logo. This was probably one of the most time consuming pattern pieces to create.
52 Card Pick Up
This is a work in progress. I wanted to see where else I could take the stitching pattern design. I have already created the four suits (aces) and the back of the playing card. It’s my plan to design the remaining 12 cards before the 2016 holiday season.
